Corolla Real Estate - Market Conditions Report - November 2017

by Holleay Parcker

Corolla Real Estate - Market Conditions Report - November 2017*

The Corolla real estate market enjoyed a very healthy fall sales season.  The number of homes sold will certainly exceed 2016 totals when December's report comes out; total sales in both October and November increased over similar month totals in 2016.*

But that's not the real story here...

The real story is in the double digit increase seen in 2017 in median sales value over last year.  Granted, we still need December's numbers to come in, but with 11 months of reporting, the median value of homes in Corolla has increased 12% over 2016 values.  More importantly, this is the highest median sales value to date of any area on the Outer Banks!*

Even the snow can't stop this red-hot market, as 4 homes for sale in Corolla have gone under contract in the last 4 days - two in Whalehead, one in Monteray Shores, and one in Corolla Bay*...

So if you're considering purchasing an investment property, whether it's an oceanfront home for sale in Corolla, a Corolla sound front home for sale, or something in-between, give me a call today at 252.207.1617 and let's get started finding the perfect home to meet your investment needs.

Corolla Real Estate - Market Conditions Report - September 2017*

Corolla Real Estate – Market Report – 9/17*

The Corolla real estate market is thriving!  If you’ve been thinking about purchasing a home for sale in Corolla, you really should get off the fence, as the median sales price year to date in 2017 has increased a whopping 13% over median values in 2016.* Further, while there are still 3 more months to go in 2017, every indication is that we are on track to exceed the number of units sold in 2016.*

Inventory is down, and there are more buyers competing for fewer homes.  I’ve had several instances this year where there were multiple bids on properties, something that hasn’t happened much since the Corolla foreclosure market dried up.  These multiple offers were on non-distressed properties; as I say, there is more competition today for homes in the Corolla real estate market.

If you’re interested in exploring what properties might best serve you and your family’s needs, why not call your Corolla real estate agent Holleay Parcker today at 252.207.1617 and let’s get started finding your perfect Corolla home for sale.
